ML inference on Kubernetes
A Python and FastAPI inference project on GKE, sustaining sub-120ms p95 latency through simulated 5× traffic surges, with end-to-end telemetry.
Personal project · Details ↗SITE RELIABILITY ENGINEER · BIRMINGHAM, AL
I write code, untangle production problems, and work on the infrastructure behind AI.
Currently at Motion Industries. My work sits somewhere between backend engineering, distributed systems, and figuring out why something broke.

01 / SELECTED WORK
A personal project and a few engineering problems from my day job.
A Python and FastAPI inference project on GKE, sustaining sub-120ms p95 latency through simulated 5× traffic surges, with end-to-end telemetry.
Personal project · Details ↗Distributed tracing and machine-readable runbooks helped cut MTTR by approximately 65%. Error-budget alerts helped reduce alert fatigue by approximately 40%.
At Motion Industries · Experience ↗At Motion Industries, I established an AI governance framework and automated verification services to evaluate models, promote compliant weights, and clean up failed GPU workloads.

Site Reliability Engineer at Motion Industries.
Contract via Aurum Data Solutions · December 2023–present.
Scaled GKE agent workloads from 20 to 200 branches. Asynchronous Python workers, pooled database connections, and KEDA autoscaling helped drain persistent 500+ message backlogs to near-zero.

04 / A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I care about what happens after the code ships.
I work across backend engineering, AI infrastructure, and SRE—connecting reliable software with the systems that keep it running. Based in Birmingham, Alabama, and open to relocation.
